Dr. Fitzsimmons offers psycho-educational assessment services to children and adolescents, to evaluate learning, attention, memory and executive functioning, as well as potential behavioural and mental health needs. Psycho-educational assessment can help parents and schools to better understand a child’s learning and behaviour, can determine if a child meets diagnostic criteria for a condition such as a learning disability, ADHD or an intellectual developmental disorder, and provides recommendations for the home and school environment.
Dr. Fitzsimmons also offers psycho-educational assessments to students attending French school, or enrolled in the French Immersion program.
